American Legion Burglary

On December 22, 2006, at approximately 5:35am, the Lincoln Police Department responded to a burglary at the Lincoln American Legion, 1740 5th St, Lincoln, Illinois. The suspects entered the building at approximately 12:23am and left the building at approximately 1:00am and fled to the Southwest.

Suspects entered the building from the south entrance to the banquet hall causing damage to the building in excess of $300. During the burglary the video surveillance system caught images of two suspects as seen in the pictures below.

During the burglary the suspects left with only a small amount of change.

The suspects are described as 18 to 25 years of age, white, males, wearing dark colored coats and stocking caps. One had what appeared was a white stocking cap and the other a gray or medium colored stocking cap with flaps that covered his ears.
